was organized into the sessions. As the many presentations are posted,
their titles will become hyperlinks to the actual documents. When the authors
supply email, biographical information and pictures, there will be a page
for them where you can communicate to them if you wish. The icon images
and will also help identify these changes. The format is Microsoft Office.

Background on Commissions
|
|
| In order to develop better cooperation between scholars, decision-makers
and practitioners IPRA has created interdisciplinary commissions or communities
of inquiry. Each commission has its own officers. The activities include
organizing panels and stimulating communication among interested peace
researchers through meetings, publications, and occasional papers. Some
regional associations and commissions hold annual meetings. Members of
IPRA can also choose to affiliate with a geographic region. |
These Commissions have proved over time to be important areas of study.
Those that are appropriate to any given conference do change. If you have
any interest in these Commissions, the links will take you to the parent
association for more information.
Similarly, some of the listed working groups and regional associations
will have meetings at the biennial conference in June.
The components of IPRA which are to be reflected in the agenda of the upcoming
conference will be posted in these pages as the work of many persons over
the last two years comes to fruition. |
